In Memory of Carl Barton

Carl Barton worked for Uplands Nursery for more than 25 years. He worked in all aspects of the business, but for the last 10 -15 years, he led our outdoor landscaping maintenance team at the seniors’ residences and commercial buildings. He was a well-loved person known for his easy-going personality, highly respected by his colleagues and adored by customers. It was not unusual for some of our senior residents to bake him cookies and present him with cards of gratitude.

 

We lost Carl suddenly to cancer this past winter. He is greatly missed.
